Notarisation Services

Certain transactions in Vietnam are not valid unless notarised — most property transfers, many powers of attorney, and marital property agreements. Notarisation is not a formality; without it the transaction simply does not take effect.

Wise Counsel prepares documents for notarisation and attends with clients, including where an interpreter is required.

Notarisation requires you to understand what you are signing. If a notary proceeds without an interpreter where one is needed, the validity of the document can later be challenged.
