Marriage Registration for Foreigners

Registering a marriage between a foreign national and a Vietnamese citizen requires documents from both countries, most of which have a limited validity period and must be legalised and translated before they can be used.

The certificate of marital status usually expires within six months. Collect the Vietnamese documents first and request the foreign one last.
